Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury’s meeting with the Prime Minister

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina met the newly elected Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury.

Today Sunday (June 25) at 12 noon, he reached Sastrik Ganabhaban and had a courtesy meeting with the Prime Minister.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Anwaruzzaman advised Chowdhury to start planning and work to solve the important problems of Sylhet City Corporation area on priority basis to give him the status of love of Sylhet people.

The Prime Minister said, I have a spiritual connection with the people of Sylhet. As they love and respect the father of the nation, they also love me. Love the boat. They should try their best to reciprocate their love. Not the mayor or city father, but to act as their servant.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister assured the government’s full support for the development of the Sylhet City Corporation area.

During the meeting, Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury greeted the Prime Minister of Sylhet residents and said, you have placed your trust in me and sent the nomination of a boat to serve the people of Sylhet city. People of Sylhet voted for you, only because they love you, Awami League and the boat and won by a huge margin. They always pray for you and ask for necessary assistance for the development of Sylhet.

During the meeting Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury was accompanied by his wife Holi Chowdhury and his two sons Ruhanuzzaman Chowdhury and Rummanuzzaman Chowdhury.
