Raihan Uddin (30) was tortured to death by SI Akbar Hossain Bhuiyan and his associates. He was beaten to death inside the outpost for more than an hour. Three eyewitnesses testified in court under section 164.

Monday (October 19) from 3 pm to 5 pm Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court Judge. Jihadur Rahman’s constables recorded the testimonies of Saiful, Delwar and Shamim.According to court sources, PBI inspector Mohidul Islam, the investigating officer in the case, produced the three policemen to testify in court at 3pm. He then described the incident to the court for about two hours long. The three of them were again taken into PBI custody.Sources investigating the case said that before anyone can be arrested, evidence is needed. The testimony of these three witnesses proves that Raihan was beaten to death at the police outpost.According to the investigation sources, the PBI is moving slowly to prevent any unnecessary harassment. However, the testimony of witnesses will not prevent Akbar from being arrested.Raihan died on Sunday (October 11th) morning after being taken to Osmani Medical College Hospital after being tortured at a police outpost. The victim’s wife filed a murder case with the Kotwali police station. After that, four policemen including Akbar were dismissed and three others were withdrawn. Akbar has been on the run since Sunday after the incident.The case was transferred to PBI on the instructions of the police headquarters. After receiving the investigation, the PBI team visited the Bandarbazar police outpost, the city’s cast house and the victim’s house. The body was exhumed and re-examined.The movement is intensifying to demand the arrest and execution of those involved in the murder of Raihan, including SI Akbar Hossain Bhuiyan. Every day in different places of Sylhet city, rallies and rallies have been blocked by the agitated people.Meanwhile, forensic reports have revealed 111 injuries on the body of Raihan Uddin, 30, who was tortured at a police outpost in Sylhet. Of these injuries, 96 were lilafola injuries and 14 were signs of injuries. These injuries have been done with sticks. Raihan died due to bleeding due to rupture of veins inside the body due to additional injuries.The flesh of the body was crushed by the injury. When the vein ruptures, there is internal bleeding. Raihan fainted due to additional injuries. Raihan’s stomach was empty at the time of the injury. Raihan died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday.
