News Desk :: BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has secured bail in four separate cases filed with Ramna and Paltan Model police stations on charge of sabotage.
Dhaka’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzel Hossain passed the order after a hearing on his bail plea on Thursday (January 18).
Syed Joynul Abedin Mesbah, lawyer of the petitioner confirmed the matter.
He said Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury got bail in four cases out of eight cases filed with two separate police stations. However, hearings were not held in four other cases due to lack of documents.
Earlier, a court on Wednesday granted bail to the BNP leader in two cases.
