Desk News :: The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its allies on Thursday announced to enforce a 48-hour countrywide road, railway and waterway blocked programme for November 5 and November 6.
BNP senior joint secretary general made the announcement of his party in a virtual press briefing in the evening.
Earlier in the afternoon, Ganatantra Mancha coordinator and Jatiya Samajatnrik Dal-JSD general secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmod Shapon announced the 48-hour blocked programme at a rally of the Mancha at Topkhana Road in Dhaka.
Shahid Uddin Shapon told New Age that the programme will be announced as next programme of BNP, its like-minded political parties and alliances as they were now on simultaneous movement.
The BNP and its like-minded parties and alliances’ countrywide three-day blocked programme ended Thursday evening.
The opposition political parties and alliances are now on simultaneous movement to press home their demands for resignation of the ruling Awami League, dissolving the parliament, holding the next general election under a neutral government.
