Desk News :: Unidentified people set fire to a bus in front of the National Press Club in Segunbagicha area in Bangladesh capital Dhaka capital Tuesday afternoon.
Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters’ control room duty officer Ershad Hossainsaid that the incident occurred at about 3:30pm and the upper part of the bus was burnt in the fire.
On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
Fire service officials said that they came to know that some people got into the bus in guise of passengers, set fire to the bus and fled the scene.
The bus was set on fire while the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its likeminded parties and alliances observing the first day of their pre-announced three-day blockade.
