Encanto staged at Scholastica Mirpur Campus

Entertainment Desk :: The Drama, Music, and Dance Club of Scholastica Mirpur Campus staged Disney’s musical adventure-fantasy play Encanto at the school’s two-day annual drama event at the STM Hall on Friday.

Renowned actor and director Afzal Hossain and Afsana Mimi graced the occasions as chief guests. Nurun Nahar Mozumdar, principal of Scholastica Mirpur Campus, delivered a speech during the event, said a press release.

Directed by Sani Ghosh, the play emphasises the strength of family and self-discovery. The musical presentation of the play was conducted by Mehraj Kabir, choreography, while dance directed by Shammi Yasmin Jhinuk and Tanjila Meghla.

Revolving around a house named Encanto, various roles were performed by Nuzhat Tashfia Ferdousi, Bornil Murchhona, Bimbito Bivabory, Tajim Tajwar, Bin Eameen Khan Rhythm, Ashwini Bhattacharyya, Diantha Sarker, and Mubashwara Sultana Shefa.

A large audience of students, parents, and teachers gathered to enjoy the performance, added the press release.
