Global COVID-19: Over 38.75m cases, 1.09m die, 29.13 recover

The coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll has reached 1,096,998 as 38,755,295 people have been infected worldwide till 13:00 pm (Bangladesh Time) today. 

Besides, a total of 29,130,507 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 8,150,043 people have been infected with the disease. Of them, 221,843 people have died and 5,278,753 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 5,141,498 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 151,779 patients have died and 4,568,813 recovered.

In India, 7,307,097 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 111,311 people have died and 6,383,441 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 829,396 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 84,898 died and 601,571 recovered from the disease.

In UK, 654,644 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 43,155 patients have died.

In Italy, 372,799 people have been infected with the disease. Of them, 36,289 people have died and 244,065 people have recovered.

In Peru, 856,951 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 33,512 have died and 759,597 have recovered.

In Spain, 937,311 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 33,413 have died in the country.

In France, 779,063 people have been infected with the disease. Of them, 33,037 patients have died and 103,413 patients have recovered.

In Iran, 513,219 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 29,349 patients have died and 414,831 patients have recovered.

In Colombia, 930,159 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 28,306 people have died and 816,667 people have recovered.

In Argentina, 931,967 people have been affected with Covid-19. Of them, 24,921 patients have died and 751,146 people have recovered.

In Russia, 1,340,409 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 23,205 have died and 1,039,705 have recovered.

In South Africa, 696,414 people have been infected from the disease. Of them, 18,151 people have died and 626,898 have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 382,959 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 5,593 people died and 297,449 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
