Light rain or drizzle likely in northern region of Bangladesh in 5 days: BMD

News Desk :: Light rains or drizzle is likely over the northern parts of the country in the next five days from 9 am on Saturday. According to a regular bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) “A mild cold wave is sweeping over Panchagarh and it may continue.”

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Moderate to dense fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon. Besides, air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to dense fog.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may rise by (1-2)°C over the country. Meanwhile, night and day temperatures may fall till Thursday. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area.

Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending it’s trough to Northeast Bay.
