Two motorcyclists, Masum Ahmed, 28, and Tareq Ahmed, 30, were killed in a bus crash in Sylhet.The accident took place on Sunday (December 20) at around 2.30 pm in Rashidpur area under Bishwanath upazila on the Sylhet-Dhaka highway.The deceased were identified as Masum Ahmed and Tareq Ahmed, both residents of Bagha area of Golapganj upazila in Sylhet. Another rider was seriously injured in the incident.Akhter Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of South Surma Police Station, Sylhet, said the Sylhet-bound passenger bus Habiganj Express fell in front of the motorcycle bus on the Rashidpur-Dhaka-Sylhet highway from Asamatra Bishwanath at the spot. Two riders were killed and one was seriously injured. The bodies were sent to Osmani Medical College Hospital. The bus and motorcycle involved in the accident have also been seized.
