BNP’s acting chairperson Tarique Rahman is getting his cousin Saiful Islam Duke to robe important information about individuals who have either obtained e-passports or applied for the same.
Bangladesh is the 119th country to be launching e-passport service to update the immigration system in line with international requirement.
Unlawful intrusion into the server of e-passport and stealing of important information of important citizens and politicians are frustrating the prospect of the important project.

Camouflaging as the well-wisher of the government, he has been actually serving the purpose of BNP-Jamaat alliance.
Duke has allegedly made kinship with several people within the government by changing the political colour. He has bagged many government projects although despite his key role in BNP-Jamaat financing.
Saiful Islam Duke is the close aide of the BNP leader Gias Uddin Al Mamun, a friend of Tarique Rahman.
Nephew of BNP chief Khaleda Zia, Duke is co-accused and convicted in many cases including one filed over 21 August grenade attack which aimed at killing the then opposition leader and now Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
In the name of running IT business, he is trying to destablise the country and put the government in an awkward situation in various ways.
He is playing the role of undercover agent of BNP-Jamaat clique through his firm involved in various government projects.
Replying to a query, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the government awarded the project work to German company ‘Veridose GMBAE’. Flora Telecom Limited run by Duke got the work as a subcontractor.
