RAB has arrested Sadiqur Rahman Ajla, 21, accused in the murder case of nephew of Awami League leader Azadur Rahman Azad, a councilor of Ward 20 of Sylhet City Corporation. On Saturday (December 19), the RAB raided the Tilagarh Bhatatikar area of ​​the city and arrested him. A foreign revolver and one round of ammunition were seized from his custody at the time.

Arrested Ajla is accused in a murder case of Shahparan police station in 2016. A case against him (No. 04 (01) 2018) is pending in the court at Shahparan police station. A case has also been filed against him under the Arms Act.
