Sylhet-1 BNP in candidate Khandkar Muktadir

News Desk ::  Many people believe that the party that wins Sylhet-1 (Nagar and Sadar) seat, which is known as the seat of prestige, forms the government. That is, Sylhet-1 seat whose government is also his! So all the parties are alert in this important seat.

Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, advisor to the party’s chairperson, is the candidate of BNP in the upcoming parliamentary elections in this seat, which is important to the political party. He was the BNP nominated candidate for this seat in the 11th National Parliament election in 2018.

Advocate Ahmad Azam Khan, vice chairman of BNP, told the matter openly to the activists. On Monday (December 16), he announced the candidate for Sylhet-1 constituency of Khandkar Muktadir as the chief guest at the short rally before the Vijay Shobhayatra at the Sylhet Registry Ground.

Azam Khan said in the rally, “The candidate for this seat (Sylhet-1) is Khandkar Muktadir. Everyone has to work together for that. Ilyas Ali’s blood will not go in vain. Taking an oath in his blood, we will work to ensure victory in Sylhet’s rejected seat.

Sylhet District President Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury, Metropolitan BNP Acting President Qais Lodi, District General Secretary Advocate Emran Ahmad Chowdhury, Metropolitan Acting General Secretary Najibur Rahman Najib and other leaders of the party.Meanwhile, according to various sources, Jamaat wants to fight alone in the next election, not in alliance. For this purpose, they are selecting candidates for 300 seats across the country including Sylhet.
