News Desk :: Sylhet District Volunteers have taken out a torch march in support of the January 6 and 7 hartal demanding cancellation of farcical dummy elections. A torch march and rally was held under the leadership of Abdul Ahad Khan Jamal, convener of Sylhet District Volunteer Party and member secretary Shakeel Murshed, in Mirabazar area of the city on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the joint convener and members of Sylhet District and Metropolitan Volunteer Team and leaders of various units were present in the torch procession.
The rally chanted slogans for the resignation of fascist Sheikh Hasina, boycott of dummy elections, parliamentary elections under a neutral government and the success of the hartal.
