Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday said that Jatiya Party would be the main opposition party in the Parliament.<\/p>\n
Quader, also the road, transport and bridges minister, said this while addressing a press briefing at the Awami League president\u2019s office in Dhanmondi in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Replying to a question from journalists, Quader said that the political party with the second highest number of seats in the election would be the main opposition party.<\/p>\n
Jatiya party bagged 11 seats in the 12th Parliamentary Election of Bangladesh which was held on January 7.<\/p>\n
Quader also said that Bangladesh Nationalist Party was spreading rumours in home and abroad by indulging in anti-government activities.<\/p>\n
\u2018Rumour terrorism has been associated with their arson terrorism,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
\u2018Commodity prices are rising all over the world. But they are spreading propaganda by saying this situation is a potential famine,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
