The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Saturday announced that it would hold a black flag procession across the country on January 30, the day of the beginning of the session of the 12th parliament, protesting against the January 7 general election.<\/p>\n
Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the BNP standing committee, announced this new programme in front of the central office of Naya Paltan on Saturday, just before beginning the party\u2019s the black-flag procession to cancel the 12th parliamentary elections and demanding the resignation of the government.<\/p>\n
\u2018On January 30, there will be a black flag march in all cities, all districts, all upazilas and all municipal councils and other units, to demand the cancellation of the illegal dummy parliament and the election of the national parliament under a non-partisan neutral government,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
