The survivor of the attempted gang-rape in Noakhali has filed a rape case against two people including “Delwar Bahini” chief Delwar in connection with torturing after undressing her and filming the incident in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali.<\/p>\n
The case was filed with Begumganj Police Station on early Wednesday.
\nHarun-or-Rashid, officer-in-charge of the police station, confirmed the matter this morning.<\/p>\n
The survivor of the gang-rape in Noakhali was previously raped multiple times at gunpoint by prime accused Delwar Hossain.<\/p>\n
According to the case statement, one and a half years ago Delwar first entered her house and threatened her with weapons. He proceeded to rape her, and when she screamed, he threatened to gang-rape and murder her.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the brutality occurred in Noakhali’s Begumganj upazila at Joykrishnapur village of Eklashpur union on September 2.<\/p>\n
The video footage of five men attempting to rape the woman went viral on social media platforms on Sunday and raised concerns among netizens.<\/p>\n
